Family Fun at the Bakers’ Brewery

Featured in Mile High Mamas

We are very excited to be featured in the Mile High Mamas blog about a weekend of family fun in Silverthorne, Colorado. Among their many fun activities and great restaurants, the Holden family visited the Bakers’ Brewery and loved us! Special mention included our Barking dog brown as “one of the best browns [he’s] ever had” and “My sloppy joe was among the best I’ve tasted.” We were honored to be selected as a part of their visit.

Family Fun

Did you know that we offer a children’s menu? One of the things we are most proud of about our children’s menu is that we make all of these items from scratch too.  Ok, except for the tortillas. We cut and bread the chicken strips, boil and mash our potatoes, we bake the bread and shred the cheese. We just don’t enjoy frozen, easy-street food. All of our kids meals come with carrot coins and Goldfish which, despite our enthusiasm about the home-made aspect of our food, tend to inspire the most excitement.

The children’s menu includes grilled cheese on home made sourdough. You can order a cheese roll up which is like a quesadilla. We make our mac n cheese from scratch or you can just order butter noodles. One of our favorites is the Kids Bakey Bowl which is a little bowl of mashed potatoes, gravy, cheese with a chicken strip. And of course, we offer chicken strips. All of our kids menu items are $5.95 and of course we give crayons to color on the menu itself.

Here is a collection of photos from Lori Holden’s visit. Lori is the author of the Mile High Mamas. Thanks Lori!

Beer-iversary – June 6 at 5 PM

Beer-iversary

This is the anniversary since we poured our first beer here at the Bakers’ Brewery! We are simultaneously excited to announce our first Medal: Silver at the North American Brewers Association Beer Awards!

Second at North American Brewers Association

Second at North American Brewers Association

WooHOO!  Excellence indeed! Our Belgian Rebellion was entered in the Belgian Pale Ale Category. Our Belgian Rebeillion is 5.5%ABV and named the Belgian Rebellion in honor of the first and latest Star Wars movies and features a carefully blended complement of fruity and spicy hops to match the natural fruity-spicy character of our house Belgian yeast strain. Tropical fruit notes from Equinox and Tahoma hops are artfully balanced with spicy-peppery Triplepearl hops and a bit of zesty Rye alongside a touch of caramel malt sweetness in this lively but supremely drinkable, orange colored India Pale Ale.

Check out our name on the 2016 Winners List and also some of our fellow Summit Breweries!

Join us Monday night for a beer pairing dinner ($25) paired by our Chef Jeffrey and Brew master Cory. The first fifty beers are free (one per person) starting at 5 PM.

First Anniversary Party!

Woot! WOOT!! We’ve almost made it through a whole year and we have skis AND a snowboard to give away at our One Year Anniversary Party!! Albritton Skis are built in Salida and the Finlandia Snowboard was built by Never Summer Snowboards down in Denver, so they’re both proud to be built right here in Colorado!!

We will be holding TWO drawings at The Bakers’ Brewery on Sunday March 6, 2016.

The First Drawing will be held at approximately 9:17pm. These entries will be filled by a 5 week long promotion where customers collect stamps on their raffle cards and for every 5 beers and/or meals they purchase, they will get one entry. They do not need to be present to win this prize, but will need to pre determine whether they want the skis or the snowboard (simply circle your preference).

The Second Drawing for the remaining item will take place later that night (at approximately 10:29pm) to a Must-Be-Present to win winner.

What Counts for a stamp?

BEER: Any full beer purchase: pint, snifter, sampler flight of 4, Happy Hour, $2 Tuesday are all good to count as one beer. Thus, for $10 worth of $2 beers on a Tuesday night a customer can get a full raffle card and an entry.

DRINKS: Any wine, shot, or mixed cocktail purchase counts. Sodas, coffee, tea etc. do NOT count.

To-Go Beer: Squealer (32oz.) Refill = 1 stamp; Growler Refill = 2 stamps; EcoGrowler Purchase = 1 stamp;
Keg = full card (5 stamps or one entry) but not for tap accounts at other businesses, this is for in house sales.
For Example: An EcoGrowler purchase plus fill is 3 total stamps…have 2 beers here and you’ve got a full entry!!

MEALS: Anything bigger than a side: Apps, soup bowl (but not cup), salads, sammies, entrees. OR, purchase of TWO cookies/brownies etc.

So come in, drink some beers, register for some prizes and get stamps!

New Year’s Eve Party!

Welcome 2016 with live music, popping champagne, and watching the ball drop twice! I guess that means you could get two kisses. Join us for our evening dinner special “Surf and Turf”, no cover for Todd Johnson and his four piece band and watch the ball drop at 10PM and midnight.
